The atmosphere in streets and places of Istanbul and Ankara during the last days of Ramadan, the traditional Islamic fasting, and beginning of "Ramazan Bayramı" also known as Eid al-Fitr. "Ramazan Bayramı" is a celebration just after Ramadan and it is a week national holiday in Turkey. Both of these dates deeply related with Islam.
During this period there was triple-suicide bombing attack in the Ataturk International Airport of Istanbul where 41 people died and more than 230 were injured. Even before these national holidays were finished there was a military unsuccessful coup that caused a great number of causalities, being 290 deaths the last official number. This was a particualy dificult period for Turkey but life carries on with apparent normality although these dates were marked with grief.
As political power becomes stronger the dissident voices slowly fade to silence moving to an underground live away from society.
